July and August bring the fullest programme — daily flying displays, the walled garden at its most productive, and additional family activities including a teddy bear hunt in August. It's also the busiest period, so early or late in the opening window tends to be more comfortable than the middle of the day.
The final month of the regular season is markedly quieter, with the garden settling into late colour and the falconry displays continuing on a reduced schedule. It's the pick of the season for anyone who wants the same content without the crowds.
